EKleKTRIP, comprised of artist/vocalist/songwriter Thelonius Kryptonite and artist/producer Loose Screwz -- deliberately elude the limited categories of what tomorrow’s urban music should sound like. Drawing equally from soul, new wave, funk, and hip-hop, their melting pot of electronic soul and dub helps put their own design of their collaborative creation in what they call 'EKleKTRIP' music. The duo expands their musical theories forming vibrant rhythm results in a vastly expand of creative consciousness. Thelonius and LooseScrewz established the duo early spring of 2011. Thelonius, St.Louis, MO native, charismatic poetic composer and eclectic musical approach has earned his rights as a powerhouse artist and performer. East St.Louis native, LooseScrewz, whose production craft for electro and trippy sound greatly characterizes the group's music, began earning great notoriety producing in separate duo ‘SNS’ catapulted the group into CMJ and Top 20 Hip Hop charts across the country, as well as earning them features on MTV and A&E.
